Howdy!! Welcome to Buckaroo Bakery, come on in and stay a while. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and to tell you what we are all about. My name is Wendy Koubek. My husband Skip, myself and our 6 children live on a small ranch in St. Johns, Michigan. We proudly raise and train working Border Collies. We also have cattle and train performance horses. Everyone here is involved and it keeps us all very busy! Our decision to start a dog bakery was based on wanting to know what was going into the dog treats our canine athlete's would be consuming. The majority of biscuits you purchase these days are preserved with chemicals to sustain their shelf life. Since our dogs are family, we definitely would not want them eating products like that. Our bakery is dedicated to our Western lifestyle and to the hard working herding group of dogs. You will find that our treats have wacky western names and shapes. We take pride in using the same healthy, all natural ingredients in our treats that we use in our own meals. Our goal is to help your dog live a longer, healthier life.
